Huge wave at La Jolla (Casa Beach)

That splash is huge. It's happening because it just hit this really long rock that happens to be there. Casa Beach btw is the largest harbor seal (i think that's the species) "pupping" grounds in California and maybe the west coast.

There was this thing on the news about how a sea lion pup had left the cove and went thru an open door into the scripps oceanography welding building i guess. They were feeding it squid until people from seaworld came to take it back to the ocean i guess.

Oh I remember when a electric eel escaped from captivity once!
